Tires Falken or BRIDGESTONE

Falken Tires

If you looking for an economical, aggressive, all round good tire, you can’t beat the faulken wilpeak at3s. I have them currently and love them. When I was doing research 1 year ago Consumer reports also rated the faulkens one of the best all terrain tires.

Pros: economical, aggressive, good tire

Falken Tires

The Falken Wildpeak A/T trails that I got late this spring have been great since. They're quiet and surprisingly efficient on the road, while delivering noticeably better grip on loose dirt, mud, and sand.

Pros: quiet, efficient on road
Cons: wait for snow review

I decided to do a shotgun approach to find the solution so I upgraded the dog bone and pendulum mount, eibach sport springs, apr rear sway, 18x9 oz wheels with 235 45 18 re-71’s, I don’t think those tires last very long but wow they’re awesome for now. I can make the tires spin if I want but I can actually launch my car and ease my way through first pretty good and then 2nd on is no traction problems to speak of.

Pros: awesome grip, good launch
Cons: short lifespan

BRIDGESTONE Tires

2 seasons before moving to NC, I purchases some expensive [Blizzaks](https://www.bridgestonetire.com/tire-brand/blizzak) that had not been swapped out for summer tires before the car was shipped here (shipped in March). Once we were settled in Durham, I took the car to a local place to get my inspection for plates and all the old guys at Ingold Tire were like "what are these?". They had never seen "snow tires" and they SELL tires.

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Love these tires. Run them on my WRX which is significantly heavier, and am between 28 and 30 PSI depending on ambient temp. They are very progressive with their grip, at the upper limits of grip, it is progressive in how much it slips, not just all or nothing. Have fun with them!

Pros: progressive grip, progressive slip
Vehicle: Subaru

I have the RSe05 (17x8) with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A 235/45R17 and I noticed I have slight chunking of the blocks on the outer shoulder after one heavy track weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.

Pros: slight chunking of blocks
Cons: outer shoulder overheating

FALKEN ZIEX ZE-512, I had these on 18" wheels and they were a hard tire, lots of road noise and didn't provide a lot of grip. I didn't buy them again nor would I suggest them to someone. They were fine, but I am sure there are better tires out there. I went with FEDERAL SS-595 which were cheaper, quieter and grip way better in the dry. look at www.onlinetires.com

Pros: cheaper, quieter, better dry grip (Federal)
Cons: hard tire, lots of road noise, low grip (Falken)
