I had BF Goodrich Advantage Control tires on my wife's car (2017 Hyundai Sonata). I just replaced them with the same tires as the previous tires had 59,000 miles on them & measured 4/32. Never any issues and the New tires give the car a great ride.
Another dhr could work. They roll super fast for their chunk.
I've had good luck with the Maxxis tires, I've had them on all three of our trailers without a failure.
I ride mixed terrain and a good all year tyre for me is the Assegai. With that said, I had DHF front and rear on my old bike and it was stuck to the ground like glue.
Very dusty here, prefer DHF over Assegai. Also prefer Dissector on rear, I find that combo rolls well and has heaps of traction in the dry.
Assegai is very good but be aware it can be very cloggy with mud and needs speed to clear. From what you say of your riding it might not be a problem for you but wet clay especially on slower tech trails can pretty much just turn them into a slick.
running KO2s on my FJ but like others are saying theyre not good when it rains. tried toyo at3 on my gx and i think theyre better on-road but they only lasted me couple years. i dont know.. i switched to hankoook dynapro extreme. i find the hankook more quiet than the toyos. very good onroad manners and wet traction
Ko2 = great on rocks and most trails. Pretty bad if the trail will get muddy and clog up the tread blocks. <10k miles relatively quiet. 10k-40k loud Nearly indestructible though even with lots of sharp rocks. Neve punctured one. Lots of balancing problems. Thank 4wheelparts for free rotate and balance. AT3W= Similar experience in most terrain. Maybe mildly better on packed snow but id say it's a wash. Quieter over all for highway driving mine have about 30k on them now.
Those are the worst tires I’ve ever had on an Outback and I don’t get why everyone wants or likes such insanely heavy stiff tires. They are also ansotkrkt horrible in winter on ice and snow and caused my car to slide and perform like crap.
Expect to go slower. DH is for downhill. My bike came with those and my God it was a slog on flat, rolling and uphill. And forget about accelerating out of turns.
