KYB Quick struts. I have installed them on many cars without complaint. EZ driveway repair and no spring compressor needed.
I recently installed KYB struts front/rear on my 2014 (108k miles). Seems to be the best brand for quality & price, plus it’s likely your OEM struts are KYB.
KYB is way better than Monroe.
as far as KYB struts go I can say the build quality is excellent. The shop I work at distributes parts to auto shops in the area, and while we have a ton of options the KYB’s sell like crazy. I asked some of the techs about them and they’ve only said great things.
I have KYB struts on my '06 OB. They're firm, but not uncomfortable.
I also replaced the front and rear struts. Man, what a difference that made in the ride and handling department.
sachs struts with the OEM rubber bushing not Poly is honestly the best feel.
I ordered up bare kyb excel-g struts. Went ahead and installed them. But the ride is harsh. I'd say ride quality is a 3 out of 10 in town 5 out of 10 on the highway. I think the new struts are acting fine. It's just the springs are so tight and don't allow any forgiveness. The handling is great around the corners.
I went with all KYB on my 07. I don’t like them. I feel like they are much stiffer
I put KYB on my 2010 and it road very harsh. Then I put the on my 2016 still harsh but a bit better
