Monroe != OEM. OEM is Sachs I believe. In actuality, Sachs OEM is probably better quality than any aftermarket manufacturer short of a full motorsports setup.

I used brand new KYB rabbit struts, and put a 1.5" lenth of round stock in the bottom of the strut housing to make up the difference in tube length

i have a set of KYB GR-2 struts on my Subaru and there great for a basic daily driver.

Pros: great for daily driver
