Spark plug NGK or OEM Audi

NGK Spark plug

Anyway, I finally made the effort and took the plunge, choosing the offline method of sourcing the NGK. That aside, the first pull on the throttle, I felt the difference. It was, for lack of a better word, 'softer', an easier pull. The change showed up in various other ways. A smoother ride, easier acceleration, an hour or so later, easier gear shifts and the ability to be in lower RPMs and speeds in higher gears.

Pros: smoother ride, easier acceleration

I read that NGK plugs already have a coating on them, so I didn't apply any when I fitted new NGK BKR6EQUP plugs. Torqued them to 25Nm.

The old ones (also NGK) came out easily and I used a bit of tubing to hold the plug as I installed it into the thread, making sure it was threaded on straight before switching to a ratchet and torque wrench to screw down and tighten.

Pros: old ones came out easily
Part number: BKR6EQUP

Plugs off if Amazon are fake, and they do some weird shit. We had a car in the shop that would shut down at random was due to fake plugs.

Pros: car would shut down
Cons: plugs are fake

Just replaced the OEM ones with the NGK PLFER7A8EG 94833 as part of my 40k service on the car. Pretty straightforward like usual except the hard part is maneuvering the coil pack connectors that rest again the intake pipe because of the plastic covering that thing was such a pita. But now the car feels like heavy, like when you put on some heavy wheels on and you can tell the difference right away. I've been having to be so light in the gas pedal because it would fly. Now it feels like I really have to push the pedal a lil harder then usual to pick up speed but it just feels heavy kind of (not sure it's the best description) but it's it not hesitating at all.

Pros: straightforward installation
Cons: car feels heavy
Mileage: 40000 km
Part number: PLFER7A8EG 94833
