NGK iridium for plugs.
I set the new ngk's i put in to 0.27 and I feel a difference already lot less hesitation off the bottom end felt like it would almost hiccup before gaining any power with the stock plugs. now i lay into it and it just goes fairly smoothly
Just installed NGK 92274 in a 2021 Mazda 3. They are 'Ruthenium' instead of iridium, seems to be their newest plug available. Just don't touch the gap, it was perfect at .044. Runs great.
I used Bosch iridium spark plugs in my 2018, no issues
I've had my Bosch platinum spark plugs in for 120k+ kilometers and they still run as good as they did the day I installed them, back in 2011.
the original spark plugs died (delphi) so i changed them for Bosch ones
Have used NGK on every vehicle I've ever owned. They've often lasted the life of the vehicle.
That’s curious….. if you look closely at the end of the shorter plug you can see another set of threads, it looks like there an insert threaded onto that spark plug. It would appear that it wouldn’t be sitting where it needs to in the combustion chamber so that may explain your misfire.
Warning about Bosch spark plugs!!! The piece of ceramic around the electrode failed. These were in a 2018 sonata turbo for about 10k miles. Thank God it didn't fall in...
Ive used bosch irridium plugs as replacement for the original denso ones in my GFs 2015 yaris and the car started to have misfires (noticable shuddering) within a couple of weeks. The bosch part is listed as compatible with the OE number, but issues nonetheless. I'm currently going through the warranty process and definately wont be using anything other than the direct denso replacement.
