Ill say this, i got a set of 6 high quality ngk platinun tips for like 60 bucks
I buy the NGK laser iridium spark plugs. About 100 dollars.
I decided to give the NGK Rutheniums a try earlier this year after reading about them on this thread I've been happy with them so far, the engine ran noticeably smoother than with the old plugs (but that could have also been simply due to new plugs).
I replaced mine last week and used anti-seize lightly. No problems that I see.
if you want to save a bit and still want some quality get bosch plugs those are good too, I’ve used them before and they were pretty good as well.
Replace the plugs with NGK or Denso.
I have the OEM RS7 plugs in my car for 40,000km ever since going to stage two with zero issues and will buy them again.
Replaced spark plugs on a 2009 Corolla 1.8L. I used NGK plugs, should I swap out to Denso?
when I worked for a Chevy dealer we hated Bosch plugs. Chevy's just don't seem to like them, they were often the culprit in misfire diagnosis.
On my stage 2 mk7 I swapped around and tried a few like ngk and the ngk failed causing misfires like crazy on acceleration. Back to OEM and never had another issue for 45k miles.
