I got a pair of the 3100 Bilstiens in my 1995 K1500, the old ones WERE STOCK FROM THE DAMN FACTORY, I replaced them and gave me about an inch of lift and drives like something else, I highly recommend them, plus they come with stickers to slap on your window or the tailgate

Pros: improved driving, inch of lift
Vehicle: Chevrolet

I've always just run Monroe gas-matics but currently have Billsteins on my Suburban. They're a stiffer ride and more expensive but are durable.

Pros: durable, stiffer ride
Cons: more expensive
Vehicle: Chevrolet Suburban

Bilstein B8s…..by a long shot. You get the lowering support you need and the ride comfort is almost on par with stock ride. Only the worst road hazards are felt.

Pros: ride comfort is good
Cons: worst road hazards felt

Put 5100's on my 2014 to replace the blown out ranchos about 3 years back. Worth it, i reused my existing springs and they mounted without a problem. Ride is awesome and you can get them on amazon.

Pros: ride is awesome
Vehicle: Nissan

I find the 6112s ride a bit better at a slightly higher speed compared to 5100s. Taking rough gravel roads in my truck at 25-30 mph is a little rough, but it surprisingly smooths out around 40-45 mph.

Pros: smooths out around 40-45
Cons: rough at 25-30 mph

I just did the 5100's at 2". I also have a +0 offset wheel (this matters). My 275/70R17's rub the mudflap at full turn when entering a driveway.

Cons: rub the mudflap
Vehicle: Toyota

I got them on my 97 Yukon and they do not off-road too terribly well, and feel too soft. I bottom out and bumps and they’re only like a year old.

Cons: feel too soft, bottom out
