Oil filter Mann or OEM Honda

OEM Honda Oil filter

I drive a Honda diesel in the UK. No matter where I look (although I don't look for big drums) oil plus filter is about $100 for me to buy and fit. My village shop would charge less but they wouldn't use the correct grade of oil and probably not a genuine filter.

Pros: correct grade of oil
Cons: expensive to buy
Vehicle: Honda

I cleared cleared the shelf full of those filters.. And i also found a new starter for my NA miata $11 that I was planning to replace . It was 95% off.

OEM Honda Oil filter

Just a regular Honda PLM filter. Engine was designed with that filter in mind. Still under warranty as well, rather use oem.

Mann Oil filter

Even tried different filters (Fram, Mann, etc.). It is slighly quieter with thinner oil.

Mann Oil filter

I can also attest, Mann filter only. I have no idea why, I believe my first motor seized due to collapsed oil filter
