Brakes were great, no fade issues(Hawk Ceramic 5.0 pads up front, stockers in the rear) running Motul RBF. Mixed conditions so I had a little of everything, rain, drying, damp. NO bias problems at all, no issues w/the ABS doing funky things. The car didn't want to throw itself off track or anything like that, even in the rain. Just very progressive feel. They put up with me having to trailbrake the crap out of this car so I figure they did ok.

Pros: Great performance, No fade issues, Very progressive feel
Part number: CERAMIC 5.0

Love the pads, don't like the squealing at times, but for a high torque pad it's really good. They have the same feeling at Hawk DTC's which I use on track, but have that strong bite at a MUCH lower temp. than the DTC's do.

Pros: strong bite, high torque
Cons: squealing at times

I just replaced my OEM pads with Hawk HPS5.0 pads and slotted StopTech rotors. Slightly more dust than the OEM ceramic pads but they do a good job.

Pros: do a good job
Cons: slightly more dust
Vehicle: Volkswagen

EBC Brake pads

Pad compound and lever setting make a big difference. Fully sintered pads were a complete night and day difference on both my bikes. Easily twice the bite over stock (brand new OEM pads) the rotors are still good to go after 6 months. You can't run a sintered rear without a sintered front but you can go the other way (ebc instructions). I would order up a set of sintered hh front pads and I bet it makes a huge difference. Stock pads are set up for a quiet, linear, long lasting and user friendly compound.

Pros: twice the bite, good stopping power
Cons: requires matching front and rear

I've had the the Red Stuff pads on mine for a few years now, and I doubt i'll get them again. They're a good pad with low dust, but they take a lot of heat before they feel "right". They don't like cold rotors. It's like they're happier after a panic stop or track time. On the street, they're just too aggressive for normal city/highway driving.

Pros: good pad, low dust
Cons: aggressive, needs heat

From my personal experience with the hawk hps pads, stay away from them. Absolutely garbage past normal operating temperatures. They were however quiet and low dust.

Pros: quiet, low dust
Cons: garbage past normal temperatures
