Brake pads Brembo or EBC
The EBC product is self bedding, extremely low dust and have excellent modulation. I've run several sets.
I've beat the crap out of EBC Yellow pads on my Ranger with a RTT and the back loaded full of stuff. They do have a lot of dust but they are heavy load rated I believe.
I really like EBC Redstuff for sporty daily driving.
Been happy with EBC Bluestuff for dual purpose. Only did one control clinic event but wasn’t an issue, and not too loud on street and cold performance is fine.
Brembo is a performance brake company. The brakes can last a pretty long time. They don't wear down fast, and perform fantastic.
Put a light cut on em and a set of Brembo pads and sent it. Good to go.
I have run both 21 and 11 with an EBC bbk for mk5 Supra. The 21’s had way too much bite imo, the Mu is .65 which was the highest I had ever ran. I think they’d be great with slicks but I run street tires. ABS would trigger about 3/4 pedal travel, not fun. I switched to SR11 and was much happier. In terms of bite they felt much better on street tires. I can still get into ABS but I’d have to brake really hard which is where my muscle memory is anyways. Both pads were easier to modulate than what I came from(csg c21). I do enjoy the drastic reduction in bedding as well. I haven’t had issues with fading but I’m also running them with 15” rotors and have OEM cooling ducts so ymmv.
Brembo sind meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr das, was es mal war. In meinem Mazda quietschen die schon ordentlich, wobei die OEM das auch tun.
I'm at 70k km and have changed only front braking pads so far. OEM braking pads and rotors suck. I've switched to EBC brakes brand based on the recs of my familiar Mazda owners and will never come back to the stock shit.
Ein Problem bei den Brembo Belägen die ich hatte war aber immer dass die nach ein paar tausend km quietschen wie Sau. Ließ sich auch nicht nachhaltig beheben.
