Brake pads Brembo or EBC

EBC Brake pads

I put ebc sport rotors dimpled amd slotted and ebc yellow pads all around. Very nice race brakes for the street and can make abs activate if needed anytime paid 750 canadian for everything last black friday. Amazing for our heavy car. Trust me u need good brakes for our 3300 lb car on repeated hard hard braking amd sticky tires

Pros: good for street, strong braking

Personally I like the EBC brake pads on mine because they are low dust and very grippy. Your wheels stay cleaner longer.

Pros: low dust, very grippy

Brembo Brake pads

Uro Tuning has the best price on OE level replacement Brembo Prime rotors and pads. Bonus: the pads are quite a bit less dusty

Pros: less dusty

I've tried alot of pads including; stop tech sports (309), EBC blue NDX, dixel ztypes and most recently EBC RPX on my 1st and 2nd gen BRZ. Out of all these I would recommend the EBC RPX.

They have higher fade resistance than the rest.

Ankle flicking power all session

Safe cold bite (5°C)

Only slight squeal on street.

Pros: higher fade resistance, safe cold bite
Cons: wear quick, slight squeal
Vehicle: Subaru BRZ

I have EBC SR-11s, 3 track days and like 8k street miles of them. Very very embarrassingly noisy but they still got 80% life left at least. And they don\u2019t wear the rotor like crazy either.

Pros: 80% life left, don't wear rotor
Cons: very noisy
Mileage: 12875 km

Brembo Brake pads

500 is kinda a lot for just front pads and rotors, i bought a set of Brembo from rock auto for my 2021, it was like 178$ with tax and shipping and i did it my self in under an hour, its actually really easy if you have a set of basic tools and a c-clamp, id run your finger on the outside lip of the rotor if you have a edge replace if not id just replace break pads.

Pros: cheap, easy install
Cons: expensive labor

New EBC/TRW pads, rotors and calipers front and back. New super dot fluid, several ABS bleed procedures, new clutch master and new slave cylinder. I put a new German/OE brake booster hose that attaches to the manifold. The new one tightened the pedal up for sure but it still stops slowly with decent pressure on the pedal

Pros: pedal much stiffer now
Cons: stops slowly

EBC Brake pads

EBC yellow. I once fitted shit pads because it's all I could get hold of when I needed them. I completely used a set of rear pads in 1 trip to wales and experienced what total brake fade feels like on a Welsh mountain with a fully loaded Land Rover and it wasn't fun.

Cons: brake fade, not fun
