I had to have my windshield replaced and had Tesla do it and I’m happy with it.

Go with Tesla. They came to my apartment and did it while the car was in its parking spot plus you know they’re not gonna mess it up and if they do they’ll have to rectify it.

i had a big crack in my windshield and took it to tesla through tesla insurance. paid my $200 deductible and it was done in 4 hours. super easy and convenient.

I got my windshield repaired 2 weeks ago in switzerland and you can still see the dent, it looks like a small hole and the guy from Carglass said that its normal it stays like this, they dont replace the whole windshield when its a small dent, they repair it instead

This car (or Hyundai) windshields are weak.

Yeah, there is definitely some sort of weakness in the type of glass they use IMO. Picked up my MYLR (new 2023) in August last year…35K miles and 2 windshield replacements. Both times a small chip from a rock kicked up from a semi while traveling on the interstate walked all the way across the windshield within hours.

Terrible quality. I have both MY and M3 with cracked windshield. I’ve had BMW, Audi, Honda, Infiniti, Mitsubishi and never experienced cracked windshield.

2021 Model Y with 70,000 miles. One windshield replaced about 6 months ago. Encountered random rock on I-75 in Florida.
