FWIW I bought a TYC 117842 for my Echo from Rock Auto and I was pretty happy with it

I am now getting a Bosch from Rockauto for 25% less than the AC Delco starter from Amazon. Bosch sold me with 24 month roadside towing if the starter leaves me stranded during that time.

I actually replaced the starter less than a year ago with a brand new (not a remanufactured) Bosch; hopefully its not the starter.

I suggest you go with a brand new OEM replacement.. an aftermarket one will genuinely fail much earlier.. the original lasted you this long.. but once cry once

I'm probably gonna go with the reman Denso unit from Rockauto.

My original starter lasted 9 years / 215k miles on the dot. I ended up finding a brand new OEM Honda starter on eBay for $238 shipped.

Honda starters are $400. I did friends car Costs him $650

My moms f150 just lost its starter at 40k miles because of auto stop/start...

My buddy has gone through 3 starters on his crosstrek, all under warranty, because of the auto stop.
