I've put about 100 miles on them and the car seems just as happy as ever. Went for a spirited drive today out in the hills and the car felt responsive and strong through the power range.
Owner reviews for spark plug
I got mine from ECS: drop-in replacement and no issues even with my Burger unit on map 2.
Car is very picky about spark plugs because it uses the spark plugs as knock sensors, I used basic NGK copper plugs and replaced every 10k. Very easy to do.
I've been running Denso (5346) IKH24 Iridium gapped .024 on APR stg1 for 48k miles and most recently on stg 2 with no issues.
I currently run the Brisk er12s and have been happy with them...I'm mpi running full e85 and the car responds well. It's also what my tuner recommended.
I have an aero 50. I don’t recall what’s recommended on it, but when I was living in the Pacific Northwest, I found that while using premium, it ran significantly better. Smoother idle, better acceleration.
Just changed my spark plugs.. went from 031/032 factory NGK1675 gap down to 027/028 gap (based on the feeler leaf gauge). i am here to state beyond shadow of a doubt that 027/028 gap feels way better. The car is smooth.. so smooth in fact that it makes me feel like the CEL is about to come on. In 7 years of ownership, I never felt it as smooth as it feels now. When idling I almost feel as its off.. also at speed!
No discernible difference to me, positive or negative. But since I am running APR stage 1, I followed APR's recommendation.
Do not I repeat do not put Bosch plugs in any import. Don't know why but they always cause problems.
I then changed to a hotter plug the Bosch Platinum plugs and again gapped to .28. Once again the plugs fouled shortly after starting and driving for a few minutes.
