Snow chains on my Audi A6 are more than enough for that amount of snow, they cost me about \u00a325 from Ebay, It's great fun passing all the 4x4's stuck on the hill on the way out of my village.
I have a set of Konig T2 diamond style snow chains that I would be interested in selling. They fit 15-16 inch wheels - possibly 17's too
I have 4motion (Passat Wagon), I still carry chains (RUD Centrax - also used them on my old S3) that fit the vehicle (front wheels only)
