Tesla glass replacement was cheaper and quicker for my rear window in my M3.

My first choice was OEM, but the tech showed up at my house with “XYG” brand glass (Canadian) because a mistake was made when loading the truck at the warehouse. Anyways, this was a mistake that I do not mind because the XYG glass looks much better, in my opinion. I think it looks better because there is no plastic trim above and below the slider.
Full power rear facing window in my Tundra. Seems to be a long time feature in many Toyotas. I've seen older 4 Runners and Sequoias with the rear glass all the way down on nice days. I love putting both front and rear windows, along with the one that faces the rear of the truck down on nice days. Great air flow.
My 2019 4runner rolls up/down. It’s a really cool feature, I’ve opened a few times when it’s been nice out.
Mine is \"Sekurit\" as well, and it's got \"Saint Gobain\" in smaller typeset under that. The rear window is the same on mine.
Mine also did this, same break and same issue with the element in the bottom right. Had to pay 900$ for a new window, but my dealer felt bad for me since they thought it should of been covered by the warranty (car was only a little over two years old) so they gave me $500 in gas cards and a detail.
Zadne sklo mi po 5 rokoch vymenili na zaruku (jeden drot vyhrievania prehorel).
My latest expense was $1300 to have the rear window replaced because the rear defrost stopped working and they wouldn't replace it under warranty because I had it tinted.
My 2023’s rear window popped today or so it seems. I went to get my daughter’s toy in the back, climbed inside to grab it. Closed the door and checked the driver’s seat for stuff, closed that door too. A few minutes later, pieces of broken glass on the bed cover and the entire back window’s gone. Pieces on the floor and all. I was so surprised to see it. I thought someone threw a rock or something. Investigated for a rock or any foreign object inside, nothing. It’s weird cause it happened about half an hour after I got my daughter’s stuff.
Misery loves company I know this thread is years old, but I thought I'd share my experience with my brand new 2017 Jetta SEL. We've had the vehicle for less than a week and it has less than 430 miles on it (bought it with 317 miles). Yesterday while sitting in a traffic jam due to a highway closure, my wife and I suddenly heard a loud boom. The rear window was completely shattered. We weren't moving, nor were any of the cars around us due to the highway closure.
