OEM FORD Oil filter

In my Hybrid, I use the OLM for recommended changes, except for the initial break-in oil/filter change. I did that one at 4k, which was about 2k of gasoline engine miles. OEM filter was tiny and I wanted to get it replaced.

Pros: OEM filter replaced
Cons: OEM filter tiny
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 4000 km

Bosch Oil filter

I tried to buy a filter, a bosch is a decent choice, but I wasn't able to find it, or I should import it for 100 sar ( which is expensive, most filter sold for 20 to 50 sar where I live - saudi arabia -)

Pros: decent choice
Cons: expensive to import

Wix Oil filter

I think WIX changed their manufacturing process because the one I bought appears to be plastic tack'd to the main housing now, and the ring breaks off when taking the old filter off.

Cons: ring breaks off

OEM Volvo Oil filter

Volvos tucking their filter under the intake manifold and you can’t even get it out from the space it’s in with some serious finagling.

Pros: tucked under manifold
Cons: serious finagling
