Also be sure to use a high quality oil filter, like a Mann...I had a Fram collapse under sludgy 5w40 in the cold.

I've been running MANN brand filters for the last 5 years with no problems.

You can just get the fram ones thou. I have been using them for 4 years no issues.

Mobil 1 filters are fine. I use them all the time in my E92 and I'm at 250k miles with ZERO engine issues. My car is used for commuting and has no modifications to it.

I use Jiffy Lube to change my oil but I bring my own oil and filter (Amsoil).

I chose to use Mobil1 0w16 oil and a Mobil1 oil filter ...made in Vietnam.

The oil is 0W-16, any major brand will do, and the OEM filter is 90915-YZZN1 which you can find both online. There's an aluminum gasket for the drain plug that you should be changing each time too.

We have a 2023 tiquan hi r line and a 2023 Taos highline never an issue except rear brakes on Taos and wipers both taken care of under warranty/ we change oil Liqui moly 0w-20 every 5,000 km with a Mann oil filter and air filter every second oil change also by Mann

Stay away from Motorcraft filters, they are aweful.

Yes and don't buy a orange fram there junk as hell. Filter is held together with glue.
