Owner reviews for engine radiator

Manufacturers
OEM Nissan Engine radiator

Mine is a 2007 and has had almost zero problems for the last 5 years that I've owned it. I had to replace my radiator so far, and that's it.

Pros: almost zero problems
Cons: radiator replacement
Vehicle: Nissan

OEM Mazda Engine radiator

Use good quality maintenance items and replace anything worn out, nobody is going to give you marks off for Koni or Bilstein shocks, or radiator that isn’t Mazda original. Avoid obviously tacky/non standard looking cosmetic items, try to stick with parts that at last look like they could be part of a factory car.

Pros: non-Mazda original radiator acceptable

KOYORAD Engine radiator

Rating 2.5

I went with a Koyorad, but for how much I’ve spent, I should have gone with a crossflow (either Supermiata or Flyin Miata). I also did a coolant reroute, which made me really regret not getting a crossflow

Cons: regret not getting crossflow, perceived poor value

Denso Engine radiator

I ordered a Denso radiator from RA earlier this year. Took my old radiator out of my truck before opening the new one (rookie move, I know). Well one of these fittings was bent/broken on the new one. Called every car parts store, mechanic, and radiator shop within an hour drive and no one had one. Someone finally pointed me towards a hydraulic shop and I had to have a guy there machine a new one for me. Been working without an issue. It was just crazy to me how difficult it was to find such a simple fitting.

Cons: bent/broken fitting, difficult to find replacement
