Owner reviews for engine oil

I have stuck with manufacturers till manufacturers recommendation is causing issue, like my gixxer leaked entire oil from companies estar engine oil, switched to castrol power 1, no leak, headache gone and happy riding on it for about a decade now.

Whatever weight the owner's manual says it takes, I'd use that. You'll definitely want to go with a high quality oil though. I personally use Liqui-moly... I have 192,000 on my 2012 A6, and she's still purring right along, a lot of which in my opinion has to do with the higher end oil.

Rowe 5W40, every 10K or 1 year

Liquimoly 5W-40, every 7k kms or 6 months. I buy it myself and get it done by any garage

Using 5W30 since deleting the MDS system from my engine. Amsoil Signature, every 6 months or 8000 km.

BP Visco 3000 5W-30. Had to use Castrol couple of times when the other was out of stock in many places. Changing every 10K Kms. Been doing it since I got the car. 250K Kms and still works fine Alhamdulillah.

Castrol/Mobil1 5W-40. On my JK I change it every 7000 kilometres MAX

I've put over half a million on four different vehicles, several hundred thousand on a few others, all running Mobil One.

I use Castrol EDGE Fully synthetic oil in my 2013 Mazda 3 skyactiv. It does burn a little but I did not have any issues.
