I have R1 Concepts slotted rotors and ceramic pads, huge upgrade in performance over the stock setup.

Almost every car in our PCA club runs GiroDiscs, even the GT and RS cars. Never heard a single complaint, and love them on my C2 and GT3.

Have r1s on my wrx, I like them so far, been a few months with some hard usage.

I used it to buy brake rotors n pads for my 06 FEH 4wd back in 2020. I bought some made by Raybestos.

I recently installed Brembo rotors and pads on my ‘14 Mazda 6. Under $400 on tire rack. The performance is great so far; they bite harder than OEM and are quiet with low dust.

I use Powerstop rotors with akebono pads and works better than OEM in my opinion. I don't like Powerstop pads because they have a break in procedure whereas akebono does not.

I put them on my truck first for better braking while towing and was so impressed with them that I put a set on my wife's rx350 as well just because they feel so much better than stock, IMO. They are outstanding. They just feel more robust/solid under heavy braking vs. stock.

My son has a '19 R Line and had a similar issue. Turns out the front rotors had warped slightly. Shouldn't happen, but seems to pop up now and then on these vehicles for whatever reason.

hard pass on the EBC products. Had 2x experiences with terrible warped rotors (drilled + slotted). Suggest their brake pads in ballpark with rotors. highly recommend buying from vendor where everything is reliable, predictable, and company stands behind product. I've had great experience with Powerstop but others may have alternative vendors. EBC is a flaming turd for me... from scar tissue.
