I used Vaico. Partly because that's a name I recognise as being decent quality but specifically because it has a steel impeller, rather than plastic.

If you buy a new valve cover definitely get a OEM or VAICO one.

It also got some new Zimmerman vented rotors and Vaico pads for the rear axle. I know its a small car, but with the new brakes out back, it really does scrub off speed quite well.

From ECS' site, Vaico is their budget friendly supplier. I used ECS' stage 3 front suspension rebuild kit, which included Vaico control arms with bushings

Buy 5L Vaico brand G13. Flush the system several times with distilled water. Then drain and purge with compressed air. Disconnect the heater core lines. Then pour in all 5L of pure antifreeze, and top off with distilled water.

For those that have leaking around the filter housing, did you use the vaico filter or the OEM? Have seen the Vaico filter/oring combo leaking on a few cars. Swapped out for the OEM filter/oring combo on those vehicles and have had no more issues.

Just replaced fuel pressure regulator after 190k mileage on 2.0L. Installed Vaico over OEM Bosch. Vaico claims it's German, but part was Chinese.

From my experience uro is alright a lot of people dog on it but ive never had any issues personally but they are just like an ok brands not great not bad just mediocre. Vaico has always been very premium feeling in my opinion, never had issues, always feels pretty high end, nice packaging, nice hardware, premium feeling.

same problem... vaico filter and o-ring. replaced the Oil about 5kkm ago, let the excess drain as required. problem is i have no idea how much of it has leaked so will have to do the whole oil change procedure all over =//// major pita.
