TRD Shock absorbers

Rating 5.0

Did the same to my old 09 OR as well as my ‘21.

These are the identical shocks that Toyota uses for their wildly expensive TRD Lift Kit . I kept the stock springs and set the height for the 2/1 lift level giving the same result as Toyotas kit would . After a front end alignment , I had zero issues with any safety systems/calibration and the ride has been fine since.

Pros: ride has been fine
Vehicle: Toyota

Rating 4.5

Man I love these brakes. What's wild about the included pads is how dusty they are as a street pad. I got less dust (but more noise) with MX-72s.

Pros: great brakes
Cons: dusty pads
Vehicle: Toyota

TRD Oil filter

TRD Pro filters or nothing in my ‘15 TRD. Full synthetic media/99% efficiency at 20 microns, wire mesh backed media, steel end caps, steel center core, silicone end gaskets and filter housing gaskets. All for $13 bucks on eBay. But to the op, I ran one for a engine flush I did when it turned over 100,000 miles. Held up pretty good for only 3,000 miles. I’d say it’s one of the best the shelf options for the price. Hard to pay $20 plus for the wix with all that polish plastic and I wouldn’t put a OEM filter in my zero turn let alone my truck. Talk about absolute garbage; semi synthetic media, no end caps, no wire mesh, just a rolled over pleats super glued together at the ends.

Pros: good price, held up well
Cons: OEM garbage
Vehicle: Toyota Tundra
Mileage: 3000 km

TRD Oil filter

Toyota OEM 0W-20 Full Synthetic. Recommended change of 10,000 miles. Rumor is that the FS motor oil is manufactured by Exxon Mobil. IF it ever came down to it, I would only use Mobil FS in the same rating. I use the TRD oil filter, it is a superiorly made filter.

Pros: superiorly made filter
Mileage: 10000 km

TRD Oil filter

My Service Writer AND 2 of the Hybrid Mechanics that I am allowed to speak with on occasions have all told me with the Full Synthetic Oil that 10,000 miles is a good interval to change the oil. Being my father's daughter, I cannot do it, I make my intervals at approximately 8,000 miles, give or take. I check my engine's dipstick and admittedly VISUAL inspection and smell the oil. I would like to share that since my very first oil change, I have used a TRD Oil Filter which has more structure and filtration.

Pros: good filtration, long intervals
Mileage: 8000 km
