My 2021 Compass wouldn't start. I got a jump from someone. My Compass started up but went into "limp mode". The next day it wouldn't start at all. So I replaced both batteries and everything went back to normal.

Turned out the previous owner took care of it outside of maintenance. Fuel filter was totally clogged, we had to run engine cleaner through, get the tires realigned and some other stuff. Overall we went from 21mpg to 27mpg.
We have a jeep GC L summit trim got it from a dealer loaner car it's fully loaded but not the v8. We like it the only downside is that it's smaller than some SUVs so it's a 2 x 2 x 2 seat config in our case and we've found we need a 7/8 seat config more than a few times.
They added an extra battery for the start stop feature, which can be turned off, to help preserve the main battery draw. That is the biggest issue on the jeep. Talking a new battery every two years.
Bought a used 2017 Limited at 30k miles. Everything was clean and it ran fine until about 69k but started leaking coolant through the head gasket.
I loved my 2011 but the parts I neglected started to come after me at 190k or so first it was the starter then the fuel pump was acting up every once in a while then the blend doors in the hvac started sticking
Be glad it's not the 5.7 Hemi! Those take a special plug, and when jeep released the specs to the manufactures, they got it wrong! So if you put 16 plugs into your Hemi, it will buck and die on the highway.
I just changed them out in a new (to me) Jeep Gladiator. First one was easy. That stupid aux battery required pulling the front right wheel and the splash guard, then dropping the little tray it’s in.
FYI - brought it in today and they said the left brake caliber is completely destroyed along with the brake pads
It’s almost impossible to drive until it’s warmed up the gear oil.
