I have them on my wife’s 2019 Mazda CX-9. It’s a very capable tire for what you’re asking for above. While they are directional they are not very noisy. Having said that I keep up with tire rotation (5k) as well as checking proper inflation every 3-4 weeks.

Pros: very capable tire
Cons: not very noisy
Vehicle: Mazda

I used to have CC2's on my vehicle until I sold them. My wife now has them on her vehicle. The reason people suggest them is because they truly work fantastic. I was literally blow away. Dry traction (not hard lol). Great snow traction. And the craziest part, fantastic wet traction. I was driving down the highway and the highway, for whatever reason, around the bend was mildly flooded giving me no time to brake. I plowed through all that deeper water and only for half a second hydroplaned. I was blown away I didnt hydroplane through the majority of it and also happy my engine didnt suck up any water. . People in the comments have said they are noisy but I didnt notice it. Maybe me other "regular" tires were just as bad? The only down side to CC2's, they are a bit pricey. Well worth it for safety though!

Pros: fantastic wet traction
Cons: a bit pricey

I put on cross climate 2s on my wife’s 2019 Honda pilot all the way back in 2020 when the car had only 25k miles because the stock continentals where garbage. We have now had them on for 5 years and about 50k miles. I haven’t officially measured them but they look brand new. Still not even half way to the wear bars (just by looking at them)

Pros: look brand new
Cons: stock continentals garbage
Vehicle: Honda Pilot
Mileage: 50000 km

Went to Michelin Pilot Sport AS's and never looked back. My Passat has the same tires (only the never model, AS4's I think) and they provide excellent road holding (it has the VR6, the continentals were absolute trash at holding the power down).

Pros: excellent road holding
Cons: continentals were trash

I had the CC2’s on my Explorer, to replace the OEM tires. They handle great, and are excellent in the snow, but they were very loud, and got louder as they wore, I also noticed a significant reduction in gas mileage, 15-20% depending on season. I eventually swapped them for what is essentially the Pirelli version of the same tire. They are called the Scorpion WeatherActive and were far and away better than the Michelins on my vehicle. Gas mileage went back to normal and they were much quieter.

Pros: handle great, excellent snow
Cons: very loud, mileage reduction

Just put Defender 2’s on my 18’ Highlander. Bought it with coopers on it. Couldn’t believe how much better the ride is and how much quieter it is.

Pros: better ride, much quieter

ripped the brand new OEM tires off my 22 EUV maybe 30 days after I took delivery, put on a set of Cross Climate 2's

That was about 56,000 miles ago, probably buying another set of CC2's early next year.

It could be 80F outside with damp asphalt and the OEM tires would struggle for grip, they are that bad.

Pros: better grip
Cons: struggle for grip, bad
Mileage: 90123 km

Also live in Minnesota. I got the cross climates. Don\u2019t have to change them out, they perform great in winter. Have had them on for 60k miles or so, mostly highway, and they still got a lot of life left.

Pros: perform great in winter, long life
Mileage: 96560 km

I went from Toyo Celsius to CC2’s on my 2014 RAV4 Limited, I love them and have had no issues in over a year and 20,000 km of use. I rotate front to rear every 8,000 km during my oil change so they are wearing evenly. I haven’t noticed a big difference in gas mileage or noise.

Pros: no issues, wearing evenly
Cons: no big difference
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 20000 km
