I wasn't able to torque the nut in the end. Swapped to original BMW tie rod ends and bam, torqued immediately no issues. Those were Meyle HD parts so apparently even Meyle HD is shit now, returning them...

I usually only buy Meyle. Never had any problems.
My Meyle tie rod ends lasted less than a year before both started making noises, and had torn boots.
If it's the tie rod ends, I'm going to replace them with the Meyle HD tie rod ends.
If you decide to do it yourself get the Meyle ones, which are beefier.
