Solid TRE are off a B5 S4. I changed them a while back, opted for Lemforder, not that much change in the driving feeling just eliminating 1 extra spot for rubber to get all worn out.
Heavy Duty Lemforder updated all metal "B" version Tie Rod End, part # 8E0419811B $50 (Do yourself a favor and get high quality TRE's, you'll thank me later!!)
If and when you put new tre in go oem S4. They are made by lemforder. Don't skimp and buy the crappy febi units.
