I blue loctite everything it doesnt hurt and has a minor benefit of aiding to stop major corrosion on the threads aside from stopping the loosening by vibration.

Loctite 518 is good stuff, however there is an "old" and "new" formulation for it. The old one is amazing for sealing cases.

I've used the loctite 518 to good effect.

For some additional assurance you may want to pull the longer bolt back out, clean the internal and external threads of all contaminants, and apply a significant amount of Loctite Blue 242 threadlocker . Really, i have seen applications where ten or so thousandths were successfully filled and bonded.

Super easy and saved me about $100 for the part. The 3 bolts holding the motor were a bit loose, so some blue loctite seems appropriate for this!
