I can certainly feel the difference between my brothers Brembo with slottted setup vs my boring yet effective Honda oem stuff.

Brembo's
I'm running Brembo rotors right now. I haven't been using them long enough to know how they hold up, but they are very very smooth
I purchased brembo oem vented rotors from mjmautohaus and got them that same week (fast service). 288mm for the front on a 1.8t as stated a few posts back.
It's a very noticeable difference when compared to the stock 10.1" (on my 99 4-door that is). You add a little bit more weight up front, but it's worth it since you get much better stopping power. I will never go back to the stock brakes, I love my G60 brakes
The rear brakes are a rotor and pad upgrade with the calipers matched to the front by Brembo in Brembo Blue.
I only upgraded the rears to Brembo cross drilled rotors with PBR deluxe pads. It eliminated the rear dust tremendously. Braking improved too.
Brembo rotors will resist cracking because the holes are cast into the rotor instead of drilled after the rotor has been cast.
I got brembo rotors and some other german pads, not really sure what they are, squeeky as of the 4 days so far, we'll see it it gets better.
The front rotors were in a box from Zimmerman and rear were from Brembo. Just about from the start the brakes slightly squealed. The noise gradually increased that nearly each time the brakes were stepped on they squealed. After about 2K miles the noise got to the point of being excessive. They squeal in the morning when cool when slowing from 20MPH or warm and hot when slowing from 45+MPH. The only way to make them silent is to slam on them hard, but the next time they will squeal as well. In addition to the noise, the rotors started developing rust on the hub sections.
