I get my pads and rotors from break performance. I run slotted and dimpled on most of my vehicles with their semi metallic brakes. Pads don't last super long but I've been more then happy with them on my RS and my F250.

I ran them on my b7 A4 for about 10,000 miles without an issues before totaling it and my fathers b8 s4 has had no issues but his are still fairly new.
I'm not sure if you have the sensor or not. Either way, if you're just looking at blank rotors, your costs will be a bit less than mine. http://brakeperformance.com/brake-rotors/Premium-Dimpled-and-Slotted-Brake-Rotors.php?did=35848 - rotors for fronts with sensor http://brakeperformance.com/brake-rotors/Premium-Dimpled-and-Slotted-Brake-Rotors.php?did=35849 - rotors for fronts without sensor https://www.carpartkings.com/brake/disc-brake-pad.html - Pads
I too am very happy with the brakeperformace.com drilled and slotted rotors and EBC Greenstuff pads. They are working very well and no complaints.
Update: I removed the link to brakeperformance.com, the cross drilled rotors they send me where causing "pad noise" caused by the slots cut all the way to the end of the disk ( bad design ) I end up installing rear OEM rotors..... problem solved.
The last two rotors of the 10 that I have bought had defective zinc coating. This is what I learned while trying to get a warranty adjustment. Brake Performance (BP) does not warrant defective coating. BP does not warrant defects found after 30 days. For a warranty claim, the customer is responsible for shipping both ways. The quote that I received was $80 one-way ($160 both ways). A mechanic has to certify that the rotor is bad. I estimate $30-$60 for 1/4 to 1/2 hour @ $120/hour. So, my out of pocket would be $190-$220 for a warranty claim. My rotors were about $250. The cheapest and fastest way for me to remedy the bad rotors was to have them resurfaced to remove the defective coating ($50). I also had to sand and clean my brake pads to remove the rotor coating that was stuck to them. I don't see the value of the BP warranty to the customer.
