OEM BMW Headlights

I like it both ways. The twins give it a more sporting/race vibe, and the chrome singles are classic and charming. Good thing it is an interchangeable part!

Pros: sporting/race vibe
Cons: classic and charming

Rating 4.0

Husband and I both ride a BMW GS 1250 on as little tarmac as possible...We changed the shocks and steering stabilizer because we ride more aggressive off-road stuff and the stock stuff was incapable of handling it.

Pros: better off-road handling
Cons: stock incapable handling

OEM BMW Brake pads

I have a 2016 435i with several mods (Pureturbos Stage 2 hybrid turbocharger, MHD Pure OTS 93 octane tune, XHP stage 3 transmission tune, CTS catless downpipe, BMS cold air intake, BC racing BR coilovers) at 138000 miles that i purchased september 2024. Within the first year of ownership i had to repair/replace brake-pads&rotors, radiator piping, a/c compressor, spark plug and coils, driver-side rear be damper, abs sensor, driver-side headlight day-time running lights and Engine undershield.

Pros: daily driver
Cons: many repairs needed
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 222089 km

OEM BMW Strut assembly

I have a 2015 f82 I bought 4 years ago with 49k miles. I now have 110k. Standard maintenance but the parts can be expensive. Also learn to do the work yourself. I have the adaptive suspension and just found out new struts are $1000 apiece for the front. That kinda blew my mind.

Pros: never left stranded
Cons: expensive parts
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 177028 km

OEM BMW Alloy wheels

alloys cracked after 3 months driving (though I live in the country so the roads are shite, but those wheels are designed for lovely German roads not the crap we drive on in UK, never had an alloy crack before)

Cons: cracked quickly, not suitable for UK roads

OEM BMW Brake discs

For example on my 4 series if you took it to a dealership to have the front disks and pads done you are looking at over £900.

Cons: dealerships get very expensive
