OEM Audi Throttle body
PoVolks
  • Throttle response:
Rating 5.0

In addition to the suspension upgrade I have since retro fitted an Audi 5000 throttle body, well it's actually a Mk2 CIS with the WOT and closed throttle switches not being used. The piece is mated to a port matched intake manifold.

Bilstein Shock absorbers

I have had this setup for a few months now, but figured I should post up on the Vortex so people can see it. Ground Control Coilover Conversion kit 400/300 spring rates mated to Bilstein Sport front (insert) and rear.

EBC Brake pads
Iroczgirl
  • Braking:
Rating 4.0

About a year ago I replaced my stock (inexpensive) rotors and pads with ATE rotors and EBC greenstuff pads. They seemed like a great combo, they reduced my stopping distance by quite a bit.

Pros: reduced stopping distance

Falken Tires

The tires are 205/40/16 Falken Azenis RT-615. The wheel adapters/spacers were purchased on here from Vtec-This-Vr, and are excellent quality. There is no rubbing and the car handles perfectly.

Pros: excellent quality, handles perfectly
Cons: no rubbing

NOVUS Windshield

I bought Rob a MKI windshield last year for his birthday. It has yet to be installed, but the local Novus people said they'd install it for $150. They would check the metal around where the glass is for rust, and check the firewall for leaks before installation.

Pros: check for rust, check for leaks

Sachs Clutch disc

application is for 87 16v scirocco with 210mm 28 spline clutch. non dampened is cheaper and i would think it would mean it does not have the center springs in it but all the pics always shows that both discs have the springs. so does anyone know the difference? or has anyone used the non dampened without any ill effects?
