Vredestein Tires

  • Grip:
  • Noise:
Rating 4.0

Just got a set installed on my 2016 Prius c at 40k miles. Good so far compared to the stock tires, but haven't tried them in winter conditions yet. They seem a bit quieter than the stock tires and they seem to handle better than the stock tires. Rolling resistance also seems surprisingly low, given they aren't "eco" tires like the stock tires were.

Pros: quieter than stock, handle better
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 40000 km

Cooper Tires
TechnicoloMonochrome
  • Grip:
  • Ride comfort:
Rating 4.0

I have them on my 01 4Runner in a 265/75r16 and love them. They wander a little on the highway but not horribly. I’ve only had them in rocks, loose soft dirt, and shallow mud but they impressed the hell out of me the first time I took it out after install.

Pros: impressed in rocks, dirt, mud
Cons: wander a little

Cooper Tires
chromatika
  • Grip:
  • Ride comfort:
Rating 5.0

Very happy with mine on my heavy af Land Cruiser. They have 30k miles on them and easily more than half tread left. In Colorado they seem to be an ideal tire - they handle snow/ice far better than any MT I've had and they rock crawl with the best of them.

Pros: handle snow/ice well, rock crawl well
Cons: flat spotting if not driven
Mileage: 48280 km

Vehicle: Toyota

Rating 5.0

Though aside from this advice I decided to get RainX wipers on the 1999 Camry a couple weeks ago, and I am impressed with their performance. Fill the fluid reservoir with additional Rain-X window cleaner and they work great.

Pros: impressed with performance, work great

OEM Toyota Roof rails
Quentin
  • Mounting convenience:
Rating 3.0

2016 4Runner - factory rails are great. It came with accessory crossbars that are useless due to aero shape and being close enough to the roof that I can't use my OneUp bike tray.

Pros: factory rails are great
Cons: crossbars are useless
Vehicle: Toyota 4runner
