Brembo Brake discs

I just changed my front rotors and pads recently. I bought Brembo 26300VA000 rotors with Hawk HB616Z.607 pads. In total, I spent $450.89 USD for the fronts alone. It was simple and straightforward to change.

Pros: simple to change, cost effective
Vehicle: Subaru
Part number: 26300VA000

POWER STOP Brake pads

  • Braking:
  • Dust:
Rating 5.0

I just did brakes with: Powerstop Evolution Sport, Drilled/Slotted Discs, Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Pad Part Kit#: P15K5305, Mach V Techna-Fit SS Lines, Motul DOT 4 fluid. All for under $600 and I’ve been very happy with this setup. I don’t track but drive spirited and they’ve performed flawlessly, and no more brake dust.

Pros: flawless performance, no brake dust
Vehicle: Subaru
Part number: P15K5305

Bosch Wiper blades

These, the BOSCH 3397014156 AeroTwin OE Replacement Wiper Blades Driver & Passenger Side - Set of 2 (26" & 16") fit better than the same PN replacement the Subaru dealer sold me (even though our cars have a 3 year/36k warranty for wiper blades, thanks dealer)

Can confirm they fit.

Pros: better fit than OEM
Vehicle: Subaru
Part number: 3397014156

  • Chips/cracks:
Rating 2.0

My windshield broke 4 months into ownership. Windshield cracked hard but held. Terrified me. Driving home for the next 2 1/2 hours I watch the spider legs widen.

Pros: held initial impact
Cons: broke quickly, crack widened

OEM Subaru Windshield
Crazzzyace08
  • Chips/cracks:
Rating 1.0

I'm on my 3rd windshield and this one is cracked now too with tons of rock chips. All OEM glass. 40k miles, 2 years of ownership. Subaru has notoriously soft and thin glass windshields.

Cons: cracks easily, soft glass, thin glass
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 40000 km
