To complement this, the Gates thermostat I bought for a Mercedes M272 engine was identical to the Mercedes A2722000115, except that the Mercedes logo cast into the housing had been (mostly) ground down.

OEM Mercedes Brake discs
athhhattt
  • Braking:
  • Noise:
Rating 3.0

Installed all new rotors, pads and remanned calipers on my family’s 2010 Mercedes ML-350. After a 20 mile test drive/bedding the pads with no noise or obvious problems, I noticed one of the rotors isn’t making complete contact with the brake pads. Same problem is on both sides of this rotor. The other 3 seem to be functioning perfectly and held up enough that I didn’t notice a problem braking. The pads seem to be touching the rotor and were installed firmly and in the right directions. Plenty of brake parts lube was used, and all nuts/pins were torqued to spec. I bled all 4 brakes with my brother in law to the best of my ability and plan to try that again on just this wheel.

Pros: good braking on other wheels
Cons: incomplete rotor contact
Vehicle: Mercedes
Mileage: 20 km

Wix Oil filter

Wanna see what a Wix filter looks like after less than 10k and 1 year of driving. Notice how the paper media pulled away from the rubber support. Notice that the filter has been sucked in.

Cons: paper media pulled away, filter was sucked in
Vehicle: Mercedes
Mileage: 16000 km
