Kumho Tires

I don't know about these inparticular but I drove AT51 Kuhmos back when I had a 07 Liberty in Syracuse, NY.

I hiked and camped regularly with friends as well. Drove on trails, did moderate off-roading, heavy snow, ice, heavy rain, on top of it being my daily driver, so plenty of highway miles as well.

They lasted me 55K (rotated 4 times during ownership)

Never had a flat, great traction, great price.

Pros: great traction, great price
Cons: road noise a little loud
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 55000 km

MOPAR Thermostat
used-user001
  • Slow warm-up:
  • Overheating:
  • Cabin heat:
Rating 5.0

Finally got around to replacing the thermostat on my 2000 XJ. Temp rarely hit 210 unless I was idling for a while so I suspected a bad thermostat. Sure enough it was stuck in the open position. I was able to find an OEM one part # 5202 8186AC. 195 degree with a weephole. Noticeable difference in performance and it’s nice to have heat again.

Pros: improved performance, restored heat
Part number: 5202 8186AC

Hankook Tires
ONEGREATFIRE
  • Grip:
  • Noise:
Rating 5.0

I replaced my BFGoodrich MT T/A tires on my Wrangler with Hankook AT2 Extreme's, and what a difference. I'm 8,000 miles in on the AT2's, and there is zero sign of wear. My wife's mind was blown that our jeep was so much quieter, and we could have a conversation at highway speed without having to yell over the tire noise. These things are practically silent.

The off-road performance is greatly improved. Where the MT's would lose traction on mountain trails, the AT2's keep their grip and keep me moving.

Pros: quieter, improved off-road performance
Cons: steering wheel wobble
Mileage: 8000 km

NITTO Tires

I ran the Nittos on my Gladiator from day 1 to about 28k miles. Great tire, never had any issues or punctures. Survived Rubicon and the 7 hour drive back immediately after. Not the greatest in snow, but I've had worse in the past on other vehicles, lower air pressure can help this.

Pros: great tire, no issues
Cons: not greatest in snow
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 28000 km

Bosch Battery

I have used Bosch, Panasonic, and now Amaron in my 2013 WK2. Bosch lasted as much as my previous 2 Mopar lasted.

Pros: lasted as much

Hawk Performance Brake pads
Aonarch
  • Braking:
Rating 1.0

The brakes suck. Kind of makes me think they just need to be bled, or the ABS pump needs to be cycled and bled via OBD2 scanner. I ordered SS lines, Hawk pads, and fluid to fix it.

Cons: brakes suck
Vehicle: Jeep Wrangler
