I always change my own engine air filter, cabin filter, and until recently the oil and filter (I'm also partial to Fram). The cabin filter is sooooo much easier to change that on my first Honda - 1989 Accord.

I use Mannol. 5l of the stuff in 5w-35 retails at about £20 on eBay which is a damn good price.

I've bought brake parts on Amazon for probably a decade. Just got Akebono pads for my Type R on their a couple months ago.

Highly recommend NGK. I made the same mistake a few years ago on our Odyssey with similar results. Put in NGK’s and problem solved.

All 10th gen civics do this.. 10th gen accord, and we've noticed it on some 11th gen civics, too... There was an updated pad that's supposed to help with it..

Reason I'm asking is I'm running Nitto NeoGens 280tw (205/50/15) on a fairly light, low horsepower car (D15B7 Del Sol). I've had alignments done, check my air pressure every other time I get gas (35psi) and I'm at the wear bars in 12k miles.

I was tired leaving work and my alternator died.

I have the same year and model of CRV and these wipers absolutely suck. My windshield just cannot get clean with them.
