Tires Toyo or Giti

Toyo Tires

Back when I had an Evo 8 I was running Toyo R888s, until they became too costly to run during daily driving, so I switched to Nankang NS2Rs.

Pros: good performance
Cons: too costly
Vehicle: Mitsubishi

Toyo Open Country AT III are the best all around. Excellent wet road traction too compared to the others.

Toyo Celsius (note that the II version just came out recently): "What’s even more surprising is that the Toyo Celsius handles ice securely, provided you don’t push too hard."

Pros: handles ice securely
Cons: don't push too hard

I live in Utah and have Giti Champiro tied on my Kia Rio. They are very good tires, ride well, and are somewhat quiet. They are as good as Hankooks or Goodyear. The are somewhat lacking in ice but nonetheless really good tires.

Pros: very good tires, ride well
Cons: lacking in ice
Vehicle: Kia Rio

Toyo AT3s are the best in my opinion. 15,000 miles in with max tread and no road noise.

Pros: best, no road noise
Mileage: 15000 km

Giti Tires

I've had a 2019 Tiguan S as a dealer loaner for six days and counting, while my 2017 Tiguan SEL is being worked on. Giti brand tires (wtf) aren't too noisy.

Pros: NVH isn't too bad
Cons: tires aren't too noisy
Mileage: 13000 km

I also have now learned that GITI does have an y factory warrantly with their tires..they dont stand behind them. Now I now its not THEIR fault or fault of dealer but my wifes 2018 passat new to use 4500 miles ago had a belt let go in a brand new less that 4500 miles and has a bulge dealer say giti has no warrantly of any kind so its all out dime. I will definately change these out when they wear out.

Cons: no factory warranty, belt let go
Mileage: 4500 km
