Tires Pirelli or Vredestein

Pirelli Tires

I will die on this hill saying these are the single best tires I've ever used that are still "DOT" tires. Loads of grip for street riding, warm up in one lap, super predictable on track and the level of grip these offer just bar none has any right having a dot stamp. The corner drive I can get on them on a 1k is mental for what they are.

Pros: loads of grip, predictable

I found some Pirelli P4’s for sale on tirerack years ago and the treadlife on them is absolutely insane, and my car is able to take corners better than any Prius has the right to

Pros: insane treadlife, better cornering

Actually just got those tires put on barely 2 weeks ago, took advantage of the rebate and good price on tire rack. I wasnt familiar either with the brand but after doing some research they are very well known and liked in Europe, they are made in Holland. I didnt want to buy new wheels til next summer so ended up getting the stock tire size 235 35 by 19 on the stock wheel. i cant speak on how they perform in the snow quite yet but so far so good, they give you a 10-15% stiffer ride specially in race mode compared to my stock goodyear summer tire but i was expecting that. so far so good! Specially for the price im a fan.

Pros: good price, stiffer ride
Cons: stiffer ride in race mode

Compare to my Pirelli Pzero they are BETTER. Better steering feel, as silent, road holding don't see a f... difference, definitely more grippy on acceleration and braking.

Pros: better steering feel, more grippy

I also have a set of P-7's on my 2018 Bolt, excellent traction and very good in the wet. Have only put 5,000 miles on them but they don't seem to be wearing as fast as I would have thought.

Pros: excellent traction, good in wet
Cons: none
Mileage: 5000 km

So a few weeks back I opted for Pirelli's P7 tires in lieu of the OEM. I wanted some more traction for dry and wet weather. With OEM tires I was usually between 4.6 kW and 4.4 kW depending on streets or freeway, now I'm about 4.4 kW on streets and 4.2 kW. And there is better traction and control. They are also more comfortable to ride on and quieter too. These tires are 100% worth it.

Pros: better traction and control, more comfortable, quieter
Cons: range suffered initially
Mileage: 1500 km

Nah I had some crazy high mileage rated pirellis on my mazda and didn't find them to last any longer than other brands 60k tires. Just my experience.

Cons: didn't last longer

Have the Pirelli Zero. I had to change 2 seperate tires in the past 8 months. Today I had passage front and rear pop. I believe they became very hot and was driving on a newly paved road which could have been hotter then nermal. I love my Tesla but the tires a dangerous and bad quality.

Pros: performance model
Cons: dangerous, bad quality

I bought a Golf GTI in April 2021. Car came with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires, which seem to have fairly good reviews. My impression is that they're the lousiest tires I've ever had, and I've been driving since 1966.

Cons: lousiest tires ever
