Whoever told you this yarn is full of shit. I had the CC2s on for over two years, just replaced them with Pirelli Weather Actives. They're both great tires for the RAV and absolutely fit.

Pros: great tires, absolutely fit
Vehicle: Toyota

I've had Pirelli Scorpion plus all season 15 years ago on my old Nissan Sentra and it did a great job for 50k miles. Right now, i have Pirelli Scorpion AT plus and it does a great job so far in all weather with my Lexus GX460. I have good experience so far with Pirelli compared to other brands.

Pros: great job, all weather
Mileage: 50000 km

If you only drive on snow a handful of days a year, I'd get the Pirellis, they'll be better than the other two most of time.

Pros: better than the others

Dude, I have had these on my 2019 4Runner and put about 40k miles on them. Drove all over and in all conditions. I drove in the snow storm that kicked Indianapolis into -17 degree weather last January and put like 6” of snow in Northern Alabama. When I was driving south on I65 just entering the north side of Bowling Green, the snow was coming down the size of golf balls. I never even put the 4Runner in 4wd, keep it in normal drive, had about 4” of snow on the highway all the way to exit 1 outside of Nashville to get in Alabama and the roads were NOT plowed, the speedometer never went below 65-70 the whole way. I NEVER lost traction with my 285/70r17 Ridge Grapplers. Never slipped, slid, nothing.

Pros: never lost traction
Mileage: 64000 km

The Pirellis are super soft. It improves high speed handling on dry roads, but they wear out way faster. Mine did this exact same thing after about 30k miles.

Pros: improves high speed handling
Cons: wear out faster, super soft
Mileage: 48280 km

Pirelli PZeros came stock on my Mustang GT and they were awful. They used to break loose all the time, I thought about trading the car in the first year because it handled like shit. Then I found a screaming deal on a set of Michelin Pilot Sports so I swapped them at 9000 miles. Night and day difference, it’s like a different car now.

Cons: awful, break loose
Mileage: 9000 km

Around here they dry rot like crazy. Also the people we installed them for complained of ride quality issues and noise. The ones we sold the most was the Cinturno Scorpion and the PZero and most people who bought them switched to either Michelin or Continental because of price and warranty.

Cons: dry rot, ride quality, noise
