Have Yakima ski rack on roof cross bars (empty today). Factory Pirelli Scorpion tires (they were great in the blizzard last week despite all the complaints on the interwebz about them).
Had the Pirellis on my A4 for about 2 years and honestly they're pretty solid. The noise difference isn't huge unless you're super sensitive to it, but the fuel efficiency gains are real.
It all depends on tyres you're using. I'm plowing through all that snow on my all season mid tier kumho Solus with no problems in my caddy van
I've got the Pirelli AS Plus 3 on my Rav4 - great tire.
Pirelli all season, nisam planirao da vozim po ovom haosu ali sam morao i pokazale su se odlično
For the last few years there's been a lot of front left punctures, so they've capped the tyre stints at 25 laps on safety grounds.
I just swapped my Pirelli's (22" OEM) for winter tires.
My experience with the Perelli stock tires was that they wore out at 19,000 miles, required numerous puncture repairs, and during their first test backcountry, the sidewall blew out, leaving me stranded.
pirelli 20 ATs done at 22k miles.
Volvo Pirellis are trash.
