For couple of years I been using **good** chinese tires. Grip is great (I have ms), threadwear is not bad too. I'm saving a fortune over pirellis!

Pros: great grip, not bad

My 23 ID4 Pro OEM Kumho Crugen tires lasted 40K miles and replaced them with Lexani EV Tires at Walmart with 50-60K warranty all for $560. Already gone 2,500 miles on it and performance is the same with OEM.

Pros: performance is the same
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 40000 km

Kumho Tires

Used Kumho’s brand just fine in the past. But been several years as other tires I’ve looked at had better wet traction / price for my specific tire size so I’ve opted for others more recently.

Pros: fine in the past
Cons: better wet traction needed

if you have R1S with original pirellis tires over 10/15k miles - getting new tires will make a HUGE difference in ride quality - this is the consensus in the forums - the factory tires don't last and it makes rivian ride rough and loud sooner than most of us are used to.

Pros: huge difference in ride
Cons: don't last, rough, loud
Mileage: 12500 km
