GP5000 S-TR are a bit lighter/thinner than PZero Race - thus LESS puncture resistant.
so, stick with PZero Race ;)
I run the P Zero RS. Like them better than GP5000 with the exception they are even harder to get on the rims
I've got the Pirelli P Race Zero tlr 28's and they are great tires... that seem more puncture resistant than the Vittoria Corsa Pro tlr's that I also have...
I like the pzero tlr a lot. I’m running 30s.
I love my PZero TLR Road tires. I also have tried the Specialized S-Works Mondo's. I can buy them cheap, but I opted to buy another set of the Pirelli's.
I just put my winters on, last year mine was an absolute animal in the snow with general altimax arctics on it.
I’m running the pirellis. Fantastic tire, they are a new all season tire and are pretty much the same as the contis. Pirellis has multiple different types of all seasons that are genuinely pretty bad but these ones are really good. Quiet, comfortable and can grip the road so very well. I was hesitant when I was buying them as I was looking at the contis since it’s been on the market much longer but I’m really happy I went with the pirellis. Either way you cannot go wrong.
For reference I’m running this on a built golf r pushing over 4xx hp and they are fantastic, they feel much better than the indy500’s I was running before and they feel identical to the dws cars I’ve been in.
Switched them over to Pirelli AS3 and now I understand! What I gained in grip I gave up in harshness.
2 Tires have bulges and a 3rd has a gash! May as well replace them all 4 NOT with Pirellis. These tires are too fragile for my driving!
I'm having the same issue! 2 BUBBLES in my Pirelli's tires.. and a 3rd one has a gash.. The issue I think is that the tire is so shallow! the rims are also damaged from bumping curbs!
