I run continental viking contacts on my NA because it was tough to find many options in the 15\" size. No complaints from me though I don't really drive it too much in the winter cuz the roads get salted around here so I only do it when it's warm enough that day that I can wash the underside off without the water freezing.
I use the Conti DWS06+ on my WRX. If you're going with an all season, that's my top recommendation.
I think the Pirellis, specifically the front, in combo with deleting RHDs, will make the racing great again. I have used Michelin & Pirelli's track tires. Pireliis are way more balanced. Less feedback/squish but much more support and better heat management.
I switched to a higher grade continental all season and they are stellar.
I use Continental Top Contact Winter Premium II (what a name...) and have been very pleased with them.
I bought a set of the Viking 8s this season, I've had them on for about a month now. Over the years I've had Yokohama IceGuards, Blizzak WS90s, Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice and Snow, Firestone WinterForce and the X Ice Snow. The Conti's have been the best of all. Very very quiet, comparable to an all season, sure footed in a blizzard, did well in heavy ice fog and very good in the wet.
I have a 2019 100D with 22s, and I use the Pirelli Scorpions. My rears have lasted pretty long I\u2019m still on my replacement set from 1.5years ago, just replaced my fronts.
My Conti's are also very good but do not inspire confidence at high speed turn rates when I cannot feel the breakaway point; makes me nervous, I want a smooth transition into a slide so I can control the location of my vehicle!
I just swapped Pirelli Scorpions that came on my Edge for Geolanders. The scorps only had 35k on them and were cupped with sidewall belts showing.
I have lx25s for my equinox and the tread life is awful on them. They have less than 20k miles on them and we’re past 70% tread on them.
