I'm running Rosso 4 Corsa's on my S1000RR, in the fast group. I've had no issues what-so-ever running them and they have a deeper profile compared to sp v3's, which also improves its tire life.
The Pirelli’s I’ve only have the Diablo Rosso 2s but they make amazing tires the Rosso2 was amazing on the Diavel more grip than the Michelins but I was lucky to get 5k miles out of them.
I will die on this hill saying these are the single best tires I've ever used that are still "DOT" tires. Loads of grip for street riding, warm up in one lap, super predictable on track and the level of grip these offer just bar none has any right having a dot stamp. The corner drive I can get on them on a 1k is mental for what they are.
I found some Pirelli P4’s for sale on tirerack years ago and the treadlife on them is absolutely insane, and my car is able to take corners better than any Prius has the right to
For MPG we had good results with the Bridgestone ecopia ep422 , we’ve since switched over to a tire that has better snow performance after using those up.
I've had my Bridgestone Weatherpeaks for several months now...absolutely love them.
Great ride, very quiet, great wet and dry performance.
Just had our first real dump (and a nasty one at that) of snow with a good layer of ice underneath (it rained for two days prior to the snow). Ive been driving around for the last couple days thoroughly impressed with the snow and ice performance of these tires. I had guys ahead of me slipping and sliding almost right through a 4 way stop and my Seltos didn't even kick on the ABS when I came up to it. Any slippage in corners and on acceleration seemed very gradual and easily controllable. They have been very confidence inspiring in the crap weather we have just had...I would highly recommend them.
The best all weathers for snow/ice are the General Altimax 365 and the Bridgestone Weatherpeak. These are very good choices for winter biased all weathers. While they won't be quite as good as the best dedicated snow tires, they will be as good or better than an average snow tire.
I think they’re a little quieter than Pirellis, as my dad has the Pirellis on his and I think his has more road noise.
These are my winter tires in Michigan. Seasonal roads only, they suck otherwise for off-roading.
I bought a Golf GTI in April 2021. Car came with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires, which seem to have fairly good reviews. My impression is that they're the lousiest tires I've ever had, and I've been driving since 1966.
