Winter setup is Michelin x-ice.
Just upgraded to some better tires (Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 225 /40 R18 92Y XL BSW). Coming from some Walmart achilles tires.
These tires are really grippy I can launch the car without any spin. Man this thing pulls and I drastically improved my 0-60.
I went with the Michelin Defenders 2 and am so glad I made this decision. Nice smooth quiet ride. Handles bumps and potholes like a champ. Braking is better than stock Toyos.
We replaced the Toyos at 38k miles with 3/32 on them, got Michelin Defender 2s and they’re night and day different
Went with Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires which seem quieter to me.
Ich bin ganz zufrieden mit den Crossclimate. Die erkaufen sich ihre lange Haltbarkeit und gute Performance bei Trockenheit aber mit Schwächen bei Nässe.
For street IMO Michillen Piolt Sports cannont be beaten.
My volvo rides on Michelin crossclimate 2s... They just work.
Yep, I tracked these tires! They lasted 2 track days on my IS350. At novice speeds.
I liked the A/S 4 on the road. There was a time I had them on 3 different cars, because it kept braking performance consistent in any weather condition. It make for a nice and idiot-proof configuration for aggressive backroads bombing.
I put CC2 on my escape hybrid same exact size as original and took a 8mpg hit in mileage from day one. Over 10k miles now and no change
