Michelin is the gold standard. Period. They're expensive and worth every penny. Quiet, smooth, great handling and wear like iron.

Pros: quiet, smooth, great handling
Cons: expensive

MICHELIN Tires

I stopped using continentals when my last set of DWS sounded like a freight train down the road in my golf. I switched to Michelin crossclimate 2s and they have been a great all weather and quiet tire.

Pros: great all weather, quiet
Cons: continentals sounded like train

I absolutely love Michelin tires on my truck. Currently I have control contact tour plus on my Jetta. Close to 80,000 miles and not on the wear bars yet. I’m hoping to get close to 100,000 miles out of them.

Pros: high mileage, great performance
Mileage: 80000 km

I will never buy anything else than Michellin CrossClimate 2 for my daily. I swear it rivals dedicated snow tires in winter conditions and lasted me 50k miles driving them years long.

Pros: rivals snow tires, long lasting
Mileage: 80000 km

These are as close to real snow tires as I have experienced, while still giving all the other benefits of non snow tires. Highly recommend.

Pros: close to real snow tires

Hankook Tires

I use Hankook Kinergy, I think they’re the K425, on my Prius-c., have for years and won’t buy anything else. You don’t necessarily need the higher end tires. I live in PA so we get every weather condition you can think of and my tires hold up well.

Pros: hold up well
Vehicle: Toyota

Hankook Tires

The stock tires kind of suck, but I think people here overblow how bad they are. They're acceptable for daily driving, but a lot of people who buy these cars like to drive them like racecars from time to time and in that regard they are pretty terrible.

Pros: acceptable daily driving
Cons: kind of suck, terrible

MICHELIN Tires

At first I thought they were decent but now at 20k miles they don't grip nearly as well, even with my AWD. I turned off traction control the other day and with a damp road (not raining) I did a 4 wheel burnout up to about 50 mph.

Cons: poor grip, high wear
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 32186 km
