Tires MICHELIN or GENERAL TIRE

The PS4S is a fantastic tire. Great all around tire and good noise and tread life for the performance you get

I then installed the Michellin PS4s and I love them, so much I put them on my Aviator.

I just got the Michelin cross climate 2s. So far I love them. Really good in the rain.

We have Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on our 2020 Subaru Legacy and I love the tires. The car is fun to drive.

I just got the Michelin Premier LTX, they drive great.

I'd stick to a street tire like a Michlien PS4S or Conti ECS02.

Milked everything I could from my OEM tires then upgraded to cross climate 2s.

The Michelins are great. I love mine. The Goodyear tires sucked when I had them.

My winters aren't too different, and I've had or have all of them: Pilot Alpin, X-Ice Snow, and CC2 (all North American versions). The CC2 were just too floppy and imprecise for me, and that's on a modified daily driver crossover. On a 986 the steering and handling response would be damaged noticeably over Pilot Alpins imo. If you're a fan of feel (and likely traction overall, honestly), get the UHP winters. They're by far my category of choice because of the sporty feel they maintain on performance cars.

My problem with Michelin is the tires are just too soft, they wear a lot faster than some of the tougher tire brands
