Tires MICHELIN or FULDA

MICHELIN Tires

I can highly recommend you remove those tires and replace with something better, which is almost anything. Those were stock on my '22 SEL and they were miserable in anything other than sun or clouds. Plus, the sidewalls are like paper and with tear to shreds even if you scrub a curb. Replaced mine with Michelin Cross Climate 2s and never looked back. Excellent tire.

Pros: Excellent tire
Cons: miserable in anything other than sun or clouds

MICHELIN Tires

I put these on my Rivian almost a year ago, through a custom shop, since discount wouldn't put them on.

Fantastic tire and wear is way better than crappy stock ones.

Pros: fantastic tire, better wear
Cons: discount wouldn't install

I drive a ford cmax energi (4500lbs). I first went to the AS05 when I got sticker shock for replacing the low resistence michelins it came with. Been through 2 1/2 sets in 100kmiles. They have been consistent and even wearing. Just replaced 2 with the AS07. They are quiter yet the tread seems much more aggressive. Might just be because I was down to racing slicks. Actually looking forward to snow driving in a few months. Just have to turn off the traction control.

Pros: quieter, aggressive tread
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 160934 km

I got 55k out of my first set of Michelins so the staggered tire thing is not a big deal.

Pros: long lasting
Cons: staggered tire
Vehicle: Porsche
Mileage: 55000 km

I always run sport touring tires on my bike. Currently riding a Z900. I love the Michelin Road 6 tires. They are great in all weather conditions, well I don’t how they do in snow and ice but they are amazing in the rain and give good grip in the dry.

Pros: amazing in the rain

I've run DWS and DWS06+ on multiple cars (MK4 jetta, GTI, 8P 3.2, RS4) and have friends with the same on other marques, over a period of at least 15 years. They are THE choice unless you want to spend more money on the Michelins. The only other option I'd consider is the Michelin CrossClimate, but these are touring tires, so you'll lose more of the dry performance of the DWS or AS/3, but have better "weather" performance, if that makes sense. I know a few folks with these, and they seem to like it, but they're appliance owners, not car enthusiasts.

Pros: good weather performance
Cons: lose dry performance

I put the MICHELIN X-TOUR A/S 2 on the Crossturd and I've been happy with them. Quiet and handle rain well. Handling has remained the same or better than the Uniroyal Tiger Paws the dealer had put on there - probably not a big feat there.

Pros: quiet, handle rain well
